3rd Sunday COUNTRY MUSIC CLUB @ West End Social Club.
This is held every third sunday in the month, between 8.30 and 11.00 in two one hour sets. Live american country music by solo and duos, professional and semi-professional singers and guitarists, mostly drawn from artists who regularly play the south of England CMC circuit. Recent artists include: Marty Smith, Stigs Country, Dean Crittenden, Daniel Berry, Caroline King, Billy Curtis, Duece Duo and the Gone Country Band.
Partner Dancing lessons (beginners and improvers), linked to the CMC are currently being run at the Club; these are normally held on the First Sunday of the month between 3.00pm and 5 pm and will be lead by Andy and Gill Elison (Contact Nigel and Sue on 01483 828675 for details).
We play traditional and modern music with a stong emphasis on danceable material. Visitors and newcomers are welcome; we encourage you to join the social club ( We now ask for a voluntary entry donation of £3 from Club Members attending these events and non members are charged £6 admission). Please note that we are a ‘mixed style’ dance venue; we accommodate line dancers, partner dancing and jiving (often all on our large dance floor at the same time!).
