The Cable Street Rag Band

No kiddin’ - the unmissable Cable Street Rag Band will be joining us at the next Joint’s a Hoppin’ on Friday 26th April. They’ll be playing a repertoire of ragtime, blues and swing, suffused with a style and tone redolent of the heyday of swing dance. The CSRB is fronted by the renowned Ewan Bleach on reeds & vocals with Lewis Taylor on trumpet & vocals and a hot rhythm section featuring John Kelly on guitar and Harry Evans on bass. First set will start at 20:30h. DJ Flat Foot Al will be playing his irresistible swing and jive mix in between sets.
